and remember, do not defrag SSDs, at least not with Microsoft's crappy defrag tools.

I always found XPs defrag to be sufficient. wow they reached 1tb faster than I thought on ssd.

takk, the real concern about the open beta tomorrow would be if you can play in the north american beta. They might not be permitting cross region play and if they are they still may not be allowing it during the beta phase.

PS try installing a 10gb game not this dinky wc3 mabinogi and maple story silliness.

edit: nm I just refreshed a couple more times and I got through.

edit #2: XD no wonder I got through they suspended applications temporarily.

They suspended NA beta applications, I signed up through EU was fairly easy lol.

Now to download the frekn 10gb installer >.>

doesn't that eff up your square enix account because you can't change your region afaik. and EU is a PAL region not a NTSC.

good lord, q, i didn't know u gonna be running your computer that hard. you might want to consider upping your memory. see that memory chart? If you hit the peak on that, computer will crash with cache disabled tweak.

So it looks like they only allow applicants on non-peak hours or something because it's still directing me to the suspension page.

I'll upgrade my memory when it does crash. But I'll be sure to reboot if it hits 5.5/6gb.

As for the beta being suspended, you just gotta try like every 5 mins, there are 15 servers/worlds right now and pretty much all of them are full or almost full. That is why they temporarily suspended beta apps.

When I started my account there were only about 8 Servers, seems they upped the number of servers last night to accommodate for more users and already its filling up like crazy lol.

Me and the other Dreams are playing on Wutai server btw. =D

Btw Harima, I dunno if it is a thing with time for getting Beta key but Tiny just got a beta key at 8am PST this morning.

But aren't you playing on a PAL region?

Region is only related to your account. (Perhaps for future prepaid card purchasing or something + other services)

All servers/world can be played by everyone. So it doesn't matter if you are from Japan, Nigeria, USA, Australia, Finland or China - you can all play on the same server/world.
