Chrono Trigger. FF7&Crisis Core. I think Chrono Trigger was my favorite though. Portal 1 & 2 are good also

Final Fantasy VII (story, gameplay, gold saucer, chocobo breeding, side quest)
Suikoden II (mass playable characters)
Street Fighter II (classic best arcade)
Streets of Rage 2 (skate)
Sonic the Hedgehog (sonic's just cool, final boss fight)

What about Alundra 2 and Legent Of mana.

Lol my brother made me play Chrono Trigger, said it was a good game. But I was an ignorant kid so he had to basically shove it down my throat. I ended up loving it though, great game. Battle with Magus most epic shiet, I remember that fight that bastard almost killed me.

Oh wow how could I forget.
All of the MGS games are on my list also. Especially the first and last one. Epic series.

Oh yeah MGS 1 is best. Mei Ling hottie.

Tales of Symphonia. Fucking beast ass gameplay and story. Definitely on my top list

The classic games that kids these days doesn't even care too play because of the poor graphics. My first game was.. Bomberman on SNES

Tales of symphonia was good game!! That's one of my top.

X-Com: UFO Defense (Good old DOS days.)

Tales of Symphonia would have to be one of my favorites! Lots of twists and one of those games you think you're nearing the end when you've really only hit the halfway mark!

I liked Final Fantasy X mainly because of the story and possibly because it was the first Final Fantasy game I played and I hadn't played anything like it up till then.

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time! There was also one for SNES that my sister and I used to play but I can't remember the name of it.

Gauntlet Legends (N64 I think?) because of the multi player abilities

Some of the best games I played, oddly enough, were from the older systems (NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, PS2). I was always more of a Nintendo junkie when I was a kid since my mom used to work as an accountant at a video store so she was always bringing us home games to try out.

Come to think of it I haven't played a game in a long time that blew me away and made me want to keep playing.

Oh yeah, Final Fantasy 9 and 10 were good also. I agree with Rissa, ocarina of time was a good game, best legend of zelad IMO. The other one you're thinking of was a link to the past I think. I'm pretty sure it is.
