Anyone else gonna give this game a go? =3 Its rumored that it might come out sometime next month, can't wait to try it out. Who knows I've might have just found my replacement to Mabinogi. I just hope it doesn't disappoint me like Dungeon Fighter did. >.>

I personally enjoyed DFO, I just wish there was more content to play through. Dragon's nest will have to go through the same stuff that DFO is like beta phase etc before you can play with all the content. So we will be playing with an incomplete version. Anyways I'll probably check it out also.

Only reason it disappointed me was that it was being played off as a arcade fighter. That game was in no way a arcade fighter! More of just a side-scroll game like Maple Story.

I would disagree with that it is like maple story. I would say that their word choice wasn't the best as it isn't really a fighter, but it definitely is like a lot of arcade games that were available and still are like double dragon, the simpsons, and x-men to name some old ones. I do understand that they chose to say fighter because of the manual input system, but most players probably didn't use a joypad/controller and used hotkeys on their keyboard instead, which definitely catered a different experience. I used a controller and it was a very enjoyable experience. I'm waiting on more content actually. If you still disagree then I'll leave it at that.

Interesting...
Graphics look kinda heavy for my taste though, but I might try that game someday.
Reminds me of Legend of Zelda for some reason... also does have a Musashi feel like what kuro-san says but more Zelda for me xD...

Is this mmo free? It looks amazing. Kinda reminds me of Kingdom Hearts gameplay, and I really like that very much.
Looks like it has some sort of storyline too, I like that! Hopefully it's not a game that required too much grinding to enjoy the features. Can't wait to try it.

ohh by Nexon! You know what that means! Their market strategy is to publish games that disguise enough to look like free games, but have the intention of implementing an item mall that will have things that players will need to actually play the game properly. They will publish a game that is dependent on the item mall.
lol, well I guess that works, but it's just annoying that they are not thoroughly honest about free games. They distort what it is. Anyway, it's not a really big moral issue, but it's just nice to note what is happening haha!
Their recent survey startled me a bit, for Mabinogi. One of the questions was something like, "Is it clear that Mabinogi is a free game? Yes or No?" It seems they're aware that their games are very close to the boundaries of free games and P2P games.
But it's cheating to classify their games as free games, because then it would seem that they are the best on that competition! Which is unfair! The real free games deserve to be recognized!

haha! That's sexually appealing. I imagine a lot of players will fall in-love with character avatars. That's just insane!

Beats paying a monthly fee. I'll much rather pay for certain stuff when I can instead of being force to pay in a fixed rate. Especially since I don't always have free-money to spend all the time.

lol ya, I guess it's a win-win situation for us and Nexon, that's why this market strategy works. But my concern is for those other publishers who actually publish absolute free games. Nexon is stealing profits from them by disguising their games as a "free game" The other publishers can't compete with Nexon because Nexon's games are more supported by money because in a way, they are also P2P games. But Nexon tries not to compete with P2P games because then they will have bigger competition.
So basically, I feel Nexon is hitting on the little guys, pretending that they have free games just to compete with the other free game publishers where they can easily reign hegemony over them. I just feel on some level, like I'm supporting a greedy game publisher by playing Nexon's games.
But I guess that's just how the world works! You have to be greedy to make money! It's an evil world!

Shows the four classes (Archer, Warrior, Cleric, Socerer) in a bit more depth. Gonna go Cleric myself.

Sorcerer looks tactical! And the teleporting looks cool! Definitely going to try that out when I get my hands on this game.
